Grains of Truth

When used as an adjective, granola is typically an insult. But after discovering Feed, I won't be throwing the term around so loosely anymore. The brand I've been loving lately comes in three flavors-cranberry coconut spice, raisin nut crunch and blueberry banana crunch. Unlike most granolas, which rely on oats alone for their base, Feed contains crunchy organic oats, barley and rye. Brown-rice syrup and molasses give it some sweetness; seeds, nuts and dried fruits add texture. And health fanatics will appreciate the combination of protein, complex carbohydrates, fiber and omega-3s-there's enough energy in here to keep you fueled through the morning. I, on the other hand, prefer to eat the stuff after lunch.with my fingers. But, hey, I'm kind of granola. - Jane Borden, Critic's Pic

The Dish Dishes

Feed is much healthier than other granolas, and has a very natural, unrefined taste. ... Feed is loaded with the good stuff and uses very few filler ingredients. It's ingredients list of grains, nuts, and seeds will surely be feeding the West Village for a while. - Jill A. Donenfeld
